Details of short and full lymphoedema training courses.
The short day courses are hands on practical training courses with a small component of essential 'need to know' theory. You learn the principles of the Lymphoedema Association of Australia (LAA) Complex Physical (Lymphatic) Therapy (CPT) - Casley-Smith Method for Lymphoedema Massage and/or Compressive Bandaging. Courses are run by the Poppy Lane Lymphoedema Clinic. A certificate of attendance and completion is awarded at the end of the day.
The full training course is as prescribed by the Lymphoedema Association of Australia. A Certificate is awarded on satisfactory completion of practical work and final exam. This course is suited for professional post graduate studies.
Short courses are suitable for professionals, patients and carers when needing to know basic specific special techniques for lymphoedema massage and/or bandaging. A Certificate of course completion and attendance is awarded at the end of the day.
